Year 11 Economics Tim Riley Pdf To Excel
I think most of the textbook will be the same as previous years; the main difference would just be a few sentence additions to reflect current economic trends. It is up to you whether you are willing to spend on a textbook or if you would prefer to do independent research using newspaper articles & other sources to obtain information. To be honest, I'd prefer to do my own independent research and get updated stats. However, i don't know whether my own independent research (in conjunction with the 2012 dixon textbook and the 2010 riley textbook) will be enough to get me a band 6 in economics.

It's not necessary, it will just make you feel more at ease, and may help if you don't know about a recent event. Your own independent research is a must. The textbook will not get you a band 6 (unless you get full marks in MC and short answers +60% of the marks in the essays). It will allow you to understand the theory in order to answer multiple choice and short answer questions, as well as cover background knowledge that you will obviously have to put in your essay. However, you must keep up to date with current/recent events and statistics to do well in the essay, as anything in the textbook will be one year out of date. Or did you just research statistics and info before assessments?
