Workaround: finish or delete game saves before installing the patch, or install just the 1.06 patch and hold off on installing the new locomotives until you have finished the games you care about. - The double GP7's profile view does not match its 3D appearance. - Several bugs in 1.05 still exist. These let you modify several aspects of the game, such as time-of-day and camera angle. They also enable driving the Tiger Tank and flying the plane, though the latter does not work very well. - Clicking on a player portrait in the ledger lets you edit the player's description. - Altered player details will now survive a game start, so it's possible to set custom names, portraits, and descriptions for pre-existing company owners when creating a scenario.

Note, however, that altered player names will not show up in the initial 'select scenario' page. - You can override a newspaper's tertiary headline, title, price, and/or date by setting the event's message type temporarily to 'Choice' and filling in choices 1-4 respectively. If a field is blank, the newspaper will default to its original behavior for that field. Once you've set the choice values, leave and re-enter the event before switching its message type to ensure that the extra values get stored in memory. - You can produce up to six pages of status report using the same trick.

Page 2 uses the lower field on the 'Newspaper' message type, while pages 3-6 use choices 1-4. As with newspaper settings, leave and re-enter the event each time you finish entering fields for a given message type to ensure that they get transferred to memory.
